executive summary
Controlling costs and performance of the transportation function is our focus with the MVS (TMS) system. We integrate with your
order entry/inventory system. We provide an environment to solicit, analyze, and initialize asset-based (and intermediaries) carrier
contracts. The database and software addresses aspects of the contracts that include rates, lanes, and committments (both yours and
the carriers). In operation, we process the orders sent via EDI to our system and tender loads to the participating carriers.
The software monitors the orders/loads and makes sure a carrier accepts the loads in a timely fashion. The system includes software to
allow load planners to set pickup and delivery appointments either before or after the loads are tendered. Once a carrier has accepted
a load, web based software available to all trading partners, allows for automated (214) or manual shipment status monitoring. After
delivery, we provide a full suite of analytical and reporting tools.
